No experience necessary- this class is meant for beginners or students who have taken 1-2 previous classes.
In this class you will learn how to create a monotype with encaustic paint, prep a wooden panel, layer and fuse encaustic medium and paint, and incorporate the above-mentioned techniques and surface treatments.
Please keep in mind this class is about the process more than the product. We will be more focused on techniques and learning vs. producing a piece of artwork to hang. Also, encaustic process involves a blow torch/flame. If you’re not comfortable with that please let me know in advance.
This class is not refundable but IS transferrable. Please contact me about a possible waitlist.
