Encaustic Beginnings: Morning 05/18/24
In-person Workshop, Limit 8
10am-1pm, Saturday May 18, 2024
Techniques: monotype printing, intarsia, accretion, image transfers, glazing/tinting, and shellac burn.
Includes all supplies needed for the project. (Frames sold separately)
No experience necessary- this class is meant for beginners or students who have taken 1-2 previous classes.
In this class you will learn how to create a monotype with encaustic paint, prep a wooden panel, layer and fuse encaustic medium and paint, and incorporate the above-mentioned techniques and surface treatments.
Please keep in mind this class is about the process more than the product. We will be more focused on techniques and learning vs. producing a piece of artwork to hang.
This class is not refundable but IS transferrable. Please contact me about a possible waitlist.
